The antivirus feature won't load

I got myself a new PC yesterday and noticed that I've got a 30-day free trial on LiveSafe. When I tried it out, everything worked properly, except for the antivirus and the real-time scanner. When I try to enter the antivirus menu, the screen is stuck on loading non-stop, and no matter how much I wait, it's still loading. When I try to turn on the real-time scanner, on the other hand, it says that it's turned on, but when I exit the application, it's turned off. How can I fix this?

Update your McAfee application by following the steps in the link below.

Updating McAfee application

Also try updating your PC by updating the windows Operating system.

If the issue is not fixed after updating the McAfee and the operating system, provide the McAfee application version and the windows operating system version.
