Older Version Wont Uninstall

I had to restore my Laptop But now the older version of McAfee site advisor wont let me add a Different Virus program. How do I uninstall the outdated version of Site Advisor from ?:mad:

Moved from VirusScan 8 (extinct version) to SiteAdvisor forum.

Remove SiteAdvisor in the normal manner. Look for McAfee SiteAdvisor in Control Panel/Add or Remove Programs (Programs/Uninstall a Program in Vista) or if not listed choose McAfee Security Center and then select only SiteAdvisor for removal when the menu is presented.

If no luck with those then run the MCPR removal tool in my signature.

or......if it's the only McAfee product and you can't find it at all...

Go to Start/Run and enter regedit hit the Enter key.
Go to:
HKEY LOCAL MACHINE/SOFTWARE/MICROSOFT/WINDOWS/CURRENTVERSION/UNINSTALL

Find the key named {625BD732-ACDF-4552-BF22-98EBB413B6F3} delete this key, close the Registry Editor and try the installation again.
(Or any McAfee key)

I bought a new Laptop 7 months ago and I had to Restore..it and got rid of the older version McAfee but now I can't install a new Anti Virus program from another company because of the leftover Site Advisor. Please tell me what to do. It isn't in my Add and Remove. And I tiured the removal tool and Site Advisor is still there..:mad:

I went to regit and typed in but it has many choices. SO now sure which one to coose from
