disabling reminders

I don't have a problem with McAfee downloading updates whenever it wants to. But when it has done this, then needs to restart the computer, there are never-ending, approximately hourly, reminders for me to restart the computer. The only options are 'restart now', which I never want to do, or 'restart later' which means about an hour or so another reminder will pop up (and will not go away without telling it 'later' then in an hour there's another one). Is there a way I can either disable this annoying reminder, or let 'later' be some amount of time into the middle of the night?

thanks

RE: disabling reminders

Unfortunately not, best to do it as soon as it happens and get it over with. Fortunately updates requiring reboot aren't very common.
