Hello :
I had mcafee anti virus before, it worked just fine. After it expired, I purchased mcafee total protection and installed it. My laptop (windows 10) became running very slow, it takes up to 10 minutes to boot or take very long time to navigate / open any page.
I tried to follow the 2 links below but didn't help
Install and run the McAfee Virtual Technician (MVT) : it stated no issue found.

Reinstall the McAfee product by following the steps below (when uninstall mcafee, do both uninstall from control panel > program and feature, as well as run MCRP.exe tool

Note. When uninstall mcafee, my laptop runs very fast .
Please help.
Hello
To begin with we'd like to which resource is being used the most, whether CPU or Disk or Memory.
Based on this we'll be able to narrow down the cause
Hi Selvan :
Thank you very much for replying. I opened task manager :
Right after rebooting : the most usage : Disk > CPU > MEM
Few minutes later :
MEM ( more stable at 33%) > Disk (0 to 50%) > CPU (3 - 15%)

Looks like Memory, Disk and CPU are normal. It is normal for Startup applications to use up resources when the PC is booted, this should stabilize over time.
During the next instance see which process is consuming the resource > you can check this in the Processes tab of task Manager.
