I have a McAfee anti virus app looking for some help and clarification

So I've had this app for like 2 years installed never had problems until today , I received a notification they my network was under attack by ssl split. I immediately disconnected the router then I looked up and found other people having the same problem but that it was not a real threat it hsd to do with the app itself .

I haven't turned the router back on and I'm using my cellular data id really like some help thank you and fyi i always use my phone to browse the same sites in app form only difference is today I used my tv to watch twitch .

Ensure McAfee and Windows is up to date. Run a Full and also use the below tool,

McAfee Malware Cleaner Tool

Also, check if McAfee Firewall is turned On.

Could you please provide more information on the issue that you are facing? Where did you receive the notification?
