How do I get rid of McAfee Personal Security tasks???

I cannot seem to rid myself of the McAfee Personal Security processes that are running on my Dell laptop. I have used the MCPR several times, to no avail. The task reappears after each reboot. There are actually three processes:

McAfee Personal Security (twice)

Runtime Broker

I did not install it (to my knowledge) and I don't want it. I found where the files are, but I can't remove them, they are protected somehow.

Does anyone know how to deal with this?
