Home Network Issues

Hi there, I have 2 questions,

1: How come when I go to "manage network" in the Mcafee security centre, it says it cannot map my home's network because either I am not connected to the network (which I am) or because i am using a IPNv6 connection which Mcafee does not support?

It was perfectly fine before before I added a new computer to the network. What's IPNv6 connection?

2. How come when I added my new computer to the network (using windows configuration), Mcafee didn't ask whether I accept the new computer? I thought it is suppose to tell me when a new computer is trying to access my network? Is there something wrong with my settings?

Many thanks for your help
