CheckPoint VPN Secure Client & Systemguard

I am running Checkpoint VPN-1 Secure Client on my PC. Since last week, when ever I run it my machine reboots - this never happened before. If I turn off Mcafee Systemguard service then secure client works fine. What is causing this to happen? Must I keep Systemguard tunred off or is there a fix?
Thanks!

Our illustrious Forum Administrator has come up with a patch.

Save it to your desktop. Right-click it and click Unblock/Apply/OK if applicable.

Follow these directions to install the patched driver for Checkpoint VPN issue.

Instructions:

Extract the contents of VPN-Issue.zip to “C:\Program Files\McAfee\VirusScan”

Run copydriver.bat (If you are using vista –right click copydriver.bat and select “Run-As Administrator”).

Reboot, Check if it works.

RE: CheckPoint VPN Secure Client & Systemguard

I assume you can read my post above....the link is right there and couldn't be more obvious.

It was only posted for us late yesterday afternoon, so it has only just become available.

It is also unofficial so use it at your own risk.

We are all volunteers here and aren't awake 24 hours a day so I, for one, didn't even know about it until this morning.

Corporate version

We're using epo 4.0, sp2 and vs8.7i with multiple versions of checkpoint. Are they going to post a enterprise version of this patch? Also, we're using att global vpn solutions which doesn't seem to be affected by this. Any information?
