Since McAfee never gets passed this screen .........
...... I need to delete and reinstall every week in order to keep my McAfee up to date.
Any suggestions on how to fix this bug ?

Hi, I'm just a user like you but have used McAfee's Virtual Technician several times to solve problems, if you haven't used it you can find it as follows:-
Open your UI and click on 'My info' at the bottom right of the next page click on 'Get Help & Support' Select 'Mcafee Support Website' at the bottom of the page.
Consumer Support will open in your browser, scroll down to the 'Virtual Technician' [NOT Virtual Assistant, you can use that later if needed ] click on 'Download & Run it'.
See if that resolves the problem.

Hi Sarnia,
McAfee worked on my system for an hr. After uninstalling they also ran a few other programms, then reinstalled, but it still did not work, then they ran some more programms and fiddled around. In the end it worked. When I asked what was wrong I got a vague answer, I assume they did not know either.
But I am very thankfull for all their time, effort, and the result. Thank you McAfee !!
Also this forum is ignored by the McAfee Staff on purpose. Their policy is not to help people who post problems here. I would suggest they close down this forum because creating a forum to ignore it is a bit crazy.
Please follow the steps as per the article McAfee update issues on windows and see if it resolves the issue. Please update us on the status.
