Hi,
I don't really get the point of blocking the loopback interface...
And if I want to open the HTTP port, the GUI does not let me to limit that to my PC only. How do I manage?
If this is consumer software it's probably best to ask Technical Support: Contact Support
However, it might help if we knew what software you are using.
In fact, the firewall does not block my loopback interface, my bad!
I've got nothing listening on the 127.0.0.1:80, that's all.
I got too confused after reading two following threads:
How to Setup MavensMate in Sublime Text | Vishnu Kumar
metadata api - MavensMate Firewall issues - Salesforce Stack Exchange
In my case the MavensMate just opens a local html file...
Still assuming this is the consumer software, yes the software usually automatically allows processes for the software you have on board although it may ask permission once in a while.
So you are OK now?
