I'm ignoring the "free subscription" because I've got 10 months left on my current three-year McAfee Small Business Security subscription on each of my networked computers.  One year of individual McAfee for one of my computers simply doesn't do anything for me.

I'm not sure if I will be renewing with McAfee at the end of the current subscription.  The protection seems to work well enough -- nothing has gotten through in the 26 months I've been running McAfee -- but the same was equally true for each of the other name brand anti-virus products that I have used over the past decades (yes, I said DECADES, I've been online more than 30 years).    McAfee works well enough and doesn't consume excessive resources, but the assorted marketing garbage is really annoying and the complete lack of any support other than user forums is discouraging.

The gift has 10 licences attached. At least that is what mine says. I appreciate the gift but will install when my current version ends.

If I decide to stay with McAfee, I will probably do the same when my current Small Business subscription expires next year.

Hi champions.  I just signed up for this McAfee Support Community and I am confused.  It says that I received a free 1 year subscription and it renews itself automatically.  What is this Subscription?  I thought this was a free advice site. 

I do not want to pay for something I don't need.  How do I unsubscribe from this free 1 year program and any future program with McAfee?  Please respond immediately.  Thank you. Chetty

This McAfee Community  is a Free member support site. Nothing to worry about that.

about becoming user Champion status you should be engaged to interact with other user trying to help with issues and the like.

if so, the admin of this Communith could reward you for a free subscription for example.

when rewarded it will sent you a seperate message to your Email with activation key for that product and you as user have to manual activate it. nothing is renewed byitself automatically.

if you  have currently a paid active McAfee subscription and you don't want to have Auto Renewal enabled kindly check the following article how to check the setting for your account;

Hola!! He tratado de comunicarme con ustedes y hasta ahora no he podido hacerlo, tienen que mejorar esa parte.

Necesito solicitar un reembolso de $149.99 que me  fue debitado y no entiendo porque tanto si el pago anterior fue de $49.99. También deseo suspender la suscripción automática. si desea información adicional pueda solicitarla a mi email. Gracias
