Tracker Remover Stalls Out Turns Gray Annnnnnd??

I've seen multiple posts with the same issue. The Tracker Remover is not working. In other posts that have the same issue, they date back to ALMOST a year! With the same, lame excuse that "We are aware of the issue and are working to fix it" blah blah blah.. something similar to that. 

   So far, since late November 2022 to now, mid January 2023 i too have been blessed with no solution, yet in the other posts related to the Tracker Remover not working, it says it's been "solved" I've chatted, called, emailed and get absolutely no where. 

Here's what I've tried.

1. Uninstall / Reinstall

2. Updated E V E R Y T H I N G in windows 10

3. Restarted pc well over 50 times

4. Went into the settings for the tracker remover and unchecked ALL but Temp files and I BELIEVE one other that right now, I can't remember and can't check because... AHHHHHH It's GRAYED OUT and STALLED out AGAIN!!!! 

5. Contacted "tech support" via phone, chat and email countless times about #TrackerRemover not working.

6. Checked the forums and found others have the same issue with no REAL "Solved" answer.

7. Allowed Tech Support to access my pc and view for themselves the issue. With no solution of course.

8. Sent "logs" to the 2nd tier support.

9. Check my other two pc's and the "Tracker+Remover" works just fine, All 3 are windows 10.  

Im sure im missing a few more things that I've done to fix the issue, but those are the ones I can remember. I figure, I have 3 months left of my subscription, if its not fixed by then, buh by mcafee! 

On a side note, the ONE thing that i can think of that MAY be culprit is in the windows settings somewhere. But! I haven't changed any of those settings (start up settings) IT MAY be (not to do mcafees JOB, but) in the windows settings somewhere. #MCAFEETECHSUPPORT THAT, may be something to look into, see if you can recreate the issue by messing with windows settings OR, asking ME or ANYONE of us that have the same problem to allow access to compare settings with OUR pc that is having the issue to YOUR pc that is NOT having the issue and seeing if there's a setting that we may have accidently allowed or done ourselves.. GASP! There's a concept! 

Until that time, Your time with at least THIS customer is coming to an end and quickly. My subscription is up in April 2023, will you retain me? or not? 

Grant it, no, its not like a major issue, it's not like a car missing an engine that was there when you bought it and now its gone, no, this is like a electric window in the car that doesn't work, kinda irritating when you KNOW the manufacturer KNOWS of the problem, but... tra la la.. doesn't fix it!

I have the same problem. Tracker remover works fine on other computers but not my windows 10 (older model) Scans work, but not tracker remover. I thought I had it fixed once, but alas, not.

Tracker remover has not worked since new version installed in early 2023 with subscription removal.

Tracker Remover appears to complete scan of temporary files but hangs up on Other System Files.

I have removed and reinstalled Livesafe numerous times.  I am using the most current Verision 16.0 R 51.  Previous posts stated problems were supposed to be corrected with this version but NOT the case.

I have gone into settings and disabled Internet Explorer, but scanning Edge, Chrome, and Firefox.

Also have disabled scans on all system files.

What is going on with getting this problem corrected?  Keep being told you are working on a solution, and then that the 16.0 51 should work

What is going on?  Multiple users having similar problems
