Sync error with Microsoft OneDrive

Today, my Windows 10 desktop is showing an error with Microsoft OneDrive and McAfee Total Protection. OneDrive states that I do not have access permissions to use McAfee Total Protection.

Screenshot of the error message: 2022-03-06 (3).png

This has only just happened after using McAfee about two years. My subscription is still valid and I am current with system updates.

Please can you tell me how to solve this problem.

Thanks

Re: Sync error with Microsoft OneDrive

Hi @TimA100 ,

Greetings from Mcafee.

The file that synced under one drive is the Mcafee Shortcut. You can either remove the file from One drive or leave it as it is as it will not cause any functionality issue on your Mcafee installed.

To check if Mcafee is working fine, please refer the below article.
