McAfee installed with the older version of the installer - is it safe?

Hi.

I recently (re) installed McAfee Total Protection with older installation .exe file from 2022 (of course in 2022 I downloaded it from the official website).
After installation I selected "check for updates" and the program was updated without any troubles to the latest version - looks like all parts (components) of it are up to date now.

The qustion is the same what in sucject: is McAfee installed this way fully operational? Will it properly secure my device?
To me everything looks normal - so far I don't see anything wrong with how it works, but maybe I am not aware of something. It is important for me to be sure I can safely use it this way (or not).

I hope someone will answer my question here. I already asked about it in different place, but without success and I suspect, for experts, it is not too difficult question.
Hope here is better place to get answer about the installation related issues.

  • Safe Connect VPN:  You will receive free, unlimited access to our VPN wireless on supported devices. Users not on auto-renewal have access to 500 MB/month of bandwidth.

   ‡Additional Terms Specific to Identity Monitoring Service:

  • Eligibility: McAfee® Identity Monitoring Service Essentials is available within active McAfee Total Protection and McAfee LiveSafe subscriptions with identity monitoring for up to 10 unique emails. Phone number monitoring is enabled upon activation of Automatic Renewal. Not all identity monitoring elements are available in all countries. See Product Terms of Service for more information. 
  • Your subscription is subject to our License Agreement and Privacy Notice. Product features may be added, changed or removed during the subscription term. Some features may require registration and a valid ID number to activate. See System Requirements for additional information.
  • While McAfee Identity Monitoring Service provides you tools and resources to protect yourself from identity theft, no identity can be completely secure.
  • US Only:
    Fair Credit Reporting Act: You have numerous rights under the FCRA, including the right to dispute inaccurate information in your credit report(s).
