I had to uninstall and reinstall Firefox. Do I have to download McAfee web advisor again? I can't find it on my computer. It's not in my list of Add-ons.
I want to put it back on the top right of the FF browser. How do I do that?
Thanks.

I downloaded it, clicked to install, but got an error message, says, it "didn't install properly." Probably because I already have it - why would uninstalling Firefox remove it? They're two separate things. So I must still have it...somewhere. Where is it?
I have it installed, but the Web Advisor icon is whited out on the top task bar. I can't get it working. It's working in Chrome, but not Firefox.
hello,
maybe the following can be of help;
McAfee® WebAdvisor (siteadvisor.com)
this will install the extension for Firefox only.
greetings
edit;
first check if there is no Webadvisor in FF currently under extenssion.
if so disable and remove the current extension.
do reboot
after reboot open FF and install above extension for FF only.
sometimes this can solve your issue.
I uninstalled the one I had, and tried yours. Still doesn't work. The icon is still whited out.

hello @steve7
thanks for your update.
sorry to hear that the suggestion i posted could not solve the issue.
hope that the mcafee assistance can be of help for you
greetings
I spoke to a representative a few weeks ago. They took control of my laptop and couldn't fix the issue. They had me update Windows, but I knew that wasn't the issue because Web Advisor works in Chrome. But I did update, but as expected, didn't do any good.
where did you download the FF program ?
was it from the Mozilla website or from Microsoft Store perhaps ?
i remember that when i downloaded FF from the MS store Webadvisor extension was not detected automatic.
after i removed the MS store version and downloading from Mozilla Webadvisorn extension was detected and received popup to install and worked without issues.
when one download the FF version from the MS store best is to use the link that i posted above to install Webadvisor extension for FF only
can this be of help perhaps ?
