I have this white blank message with the header "McAfee Alert Viewer not responding" as shown in the attachment. In the last 6 months I tried to reinstall McAfee, changed the O/S from 10 to 11 and back, uninstalled everything that might interfere with McAfee, flagged the issue to McAfee but no solution available. This is unacceptable for any cyber security software, antivirus or firewall to have the alert viewer frozen. It could be a virus or system attack in place and no alert would be issued because the alert system is not working. I've been a McAfee customer for long time but this lingering issues make me wonder about the product.

I followed the recommended steps as shown in the screenshot but right after that the problem reappeared. Apparently this critical problem has no solution for more than 6 months and nobody at McAfee is concerned
