When I tried to run an update McAfee states I am currently offline and to try later.
I completed a reinstall which contained today's updates but when I manually checked for updates it stated I am offline again.
Checking on Twitter other people have the same problem. Can you advise when you are going to fix this problem as I do not think it is with the end user.
I have the same problem on two PCs one Windows 10 and the other WIndows 11. Other people have the same problem.

The problem is NOT fixed. I am having the same problem, 11-4-2022, 4 months after you said it was fixed. I bought a new Windows 11 laptop in August. Only 3 months later, McAfee is malfunctioning in at least two ways:
1) It would not update the McAfee app upon request.
When I click [Check now], the circle in-front of "checking for updates" would just spin and spin forever.
I had to uninstall and reinstall McAfee.
2) After doing that, McAfee refuses to update.
Instead, I get an "Update app" window saying:
"It looks like you're offline.
Please check your connection and try again."
I am not offline. I do not have any trouble accessing and using the internet. It is McAfee that continues to fail. This creates lack of confidence in the McAfee Multi-Access Total Protection software. If it malfunctions during updates, will it also malfunction when I need protection from a virus? Obviously, I will not have protection from new viruses since it refuses to update itself.
