Lost vault

Hello McAfee community, 

I have contacted official support a thousand times about this, still no response.

I had an vault with pictures of my dad and granddad who both sadly enough passed away. I stored the pictures for my mom for them to not get lost, i don't have budget to renew security and now my vault is gone with all the pictures. How do i get it back?

Only thing that worked from the posts here is to use a restore point or backup from prior to late  Feb 2022. IE if you have one restore now to current date and then restore to the earlier date. McAfee and the vault will be there and you can access it. Only saw 1 user who said this worked and at October February restore points may be not available.

I'm not gonna accept that answer, you guys removed me from the vault. Not me.

i found the following mcafee service doc about Vault;

McAfee KB - Unable to open McAfee Vault after a recent McAfee update (TS102865)

the Vault was removed in first quarter of last year according to this service article but has some options that you could try perhaps.

if you are not comfortable to do this i would suggest to contact mcafee support on working days during office hours and see if they can assist you with restoring your lost files.

if you go to the middle of the starting page on the right side there is option; contact/talk with expert

follow the next steps for getting live assistance.
