On my Windows 10 PC my McAfee Livesafe subscription is showing as "expired" when it is active. I have tried the "reinstall" link where the devices are displayed, but this failed due to the presence of McAfee software already on the computer. I was intending to try to uninstall McAfee completely and then try to reinstall, but in the face of dire warnings about the PC being unprotected, and messages stating that McAfee would be "sorry to see me go", I abandoned this course of action as it seemed as though my subscription was about to be completely cancelled. I have looked at the McAfee YouTube video about the McAfee Software Install Helper Tool, but the procedure looks far too complicated and very difficult to follow on a video. Can McAfee technical department not just deal with this remotely, and remove the error message from my PC?
