I had to uninstall McAfee Livesafe and reinstall it after an update to the program caused it to stick to a pure white window after trying to access any of the settings. After doing so, the problem persisted no longer, so i figured the Feedback button (you know, the icon on the bottom right of the McAfee control panel that looks like a comic text bubble with a pencil in it) would be fixed as well, enabling me to....well, give feedback of this product, yet it astounds me that it has remained inoperable for an entire YEAR, a whole year without the ability to give feedback to a product that i shouldn't need to use the forum here to do so, but here i am, and i don't appreciate that im forced to do so, taking a choice away from me like that, but i guess that's how everything runs nowadays
OH, one more thing, all the popups McAfee LiveSafe gives me, about junk files on my computer, tips on how to secure myself more, stats on what was protected in total, yadda yadda.......I DON'T LIKE IT!!!!!!!!
I DO NOT need near daily constant reminders on how to do such and such to my computer, how to clean junk files, how to protect it, treating me like a 12 year old CHILD that doesn't know clicking a suspicious link/AD won't install a malicious file that will break my computer and steal data from me, or any number of examples out there; like I haven't had my desktop for YEARS, with FAR MORE FREE TIME needed to learn everything i need to protect myself on the internet. McAfee, as a product, should be doing one thing and one thing only: protect my desktop from the (lack of a better word notwithstanding) BAD side of the internet, viruses, malware, hackers and all, to the best of its abilities, nothing more. What i do NOT need is to be coddled and treated like a child....that is an insult & disrespect greater than anything i have experienced
McAfee Support, if you're reading this and legitimately listening, this is my Feedback to the McAfee LiveSafe product, and ANY McAfee product that uses the very same User Interface that LiveSafe currently uses: bring back the Feedback function, or remove it entirely if you're going to effectively leave its gutted digital corpse bereft of any purpose other than filler. And GET RID OF/REMOVE THE INFO/TIPS POPUPS!!!! If not that, give us the setting to turn them off, they aren't helpful in any, shape, or form, its annoying, making me livid, and quite possibly making me reconsider renewing my subscription/license with McAfee LiveSafe as a whole
