Alert viewer not responding

Dear McAfee My McAfee Total Protection alert viewer is not responding and Chromium Container Delegate is filling the memory and disk space. This has happened following a recent Windows 10 update. It is preventing me from using any internet browsers. Can you please advise how to fix this? Thank you
