Alert Viewer not responding

Alert Viewer pops up and displays a blank message. I had to clink on the blank screen to get it to close the alertviewer app.

This is what it shows sometimes:

Greetings from McAfee.

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused. McAfee is currently investigating the cause. In the mean time we recommend you to follow the below steps and update us the outcome.

  • Open McAfee
  • Click My protection (4-Sqare box)
  • click on firewall
  • open Traffic controller
  • Select Smart access (Recommended)
  • Click Apply
  • Reboot the PC

I have 5 different PC/laptops with different Windows OS (10 Home, 10 Pro, 11 Home, 11 Pro) on them, and after the latest McAfee "update" they all are having this issue! And seems like McAfee doesn't listen or care, because customers were having this issue since 2022!
