website being marked as dangerous

Hello,

A customer of mine told me my site was being marked as dangrous my McAffee. I do not have the same software installed so I don't know if this is still happening. Can I have this checked out? Is there a tool available that allows me to know if my site is marked as dangerous by McAffee? I don't want this scaring off potential visitors since we are an established software company. Thanks

Does Mcafee have a tool as mentioned above to check if a website is indeed safe?

You can check the website reputation in trustedsource.org. Please follow the below steps for the same.

  • Go to TrustedSource.org.
  • Select McAfee SiteAdvisor/WebControl (Enterprise) in the drop-down list.
  • Type in the address of a website, for examplewww.mcafee.com, then click Check URL.
