saUpd.exe

Jump to solution

I use site advisor version 3.6.0.164 in Firefox 17.0.1  (2 computers, OS XP professional and Windows 7). In Site advisor directory (C:\Programs\McAfee\SiteAdvisor) there is saUpd.exe. Is asking internet permission every start up (it seems that this file does automatic update to site advisor). I would like  to confirm this to see if I should give it pemanent access to Internet.

Would be very grateful for any help

Yes it is genuine and is the SiteAdvisor Updater as you surmised.  It should have full access.

Many thanks for your quick help.

I'll create a rule to give it permanent access.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
