mcafee siteadvisor doesn't work anymore?

ok couple weeks ago it stopped work (like it doesn't show the green check mark or a green mark next to the website to see if its safe or not. It just shows a blank white box.)

I made a black box to show what i'm talking about.

So i was trying to see what's the problem but its only for google chrome (i use google chrome)

So i went on my internet explorer and it works fine.

Any helo?

Moved to SiteAdvisor.  Yes there is an intermittent issue with Chrome and they know about it.

SA also wont work at all with Firefox 5 and that's also being looked into.

Yes, this is a known issue. It was noted in a previous thread in SiteAdvisor. I think it's a problem with Chrome's cacheing, or else the icon for the SA site rating isn't where it should be. Try clicking on the empty box - when I do that it does actually go to SiteAdvisor, so it's a live link without an icon.

ya i do that but it's annoying for every website you wanna check. Are they fixing the problem ?

I can't say. I've reported it through the Google feedback mechanism but that report just goes into the queue and waits for someone to read it.

I can't see why the icons for the search results can't be found - there are lots of icons in C:\Program Files\McAfee\SiteAdvisor\Scripts, including some which look as if they're the ones that should be displayed.
