Hi,
(Windows 10 64bit - 1909)
Receiving the following Event Error quite often after exiting Edge. Tried uninstalling etc. but problem continues. Any ideas why please?
Cheers
Hi @pd123
We need few details to check the WebAdvisor issue in your computer:
1. What version of Edge browser installed
2. Also please let us know whether any other 3rd party WebAdvisor installed
3. What McAfee Antivirus installed and version
Thanks for picking this up
1. Microsoft Edge 44.18362.449.0
2. I have completly uninstalled ALL other Edge extensions, and rebooted etc. The problem persists.
3. No McAfee Antivirus at this time. Evaluating McAfee as I prefer WebAdvisor's check marks against search results which McAfee's main competitor can't provide. Obviously would not want to migrate to McAfee if tools prove to be unstable though.
Hi @pd123
Thank you for your patience, please make sure your windows are up to date and try uninstall and reinstalling McAfee Web Advisor to check the status.
Hi,
Windows fully up to date.
All Edge extensions uninstalled, including WebAdvisor, for all Windows user accounts.
System rebooted.
Just WebAdvisor re-installed from Microsoft Store (no other extensions re-installed). Problem persists.
