My McAfee recently updated itself and told me I had to restart my system for it to fully update. I did so and now when I open my outlook 2003, the just-in-time debugging program opens a McAfee script box and tells me to debug. When I do so, it says, Microsoft Jscript runtime error: validlink_google is undefined.
How do i get rid of this annoying box that doesn't correct the problem?
Click on Start> Run> Type regsvr32 jscript.dll> Click OK, also please enclose the screen shot of the error message over here…
Hi,
I use Outlook 2003 and IE8
I have the exactly same problem since yesterday after McAfee updated, a "Runtime eror" appear each time I receive message on Outlook.
(see runtime error.jpg)
When the error message appear I run the debugger and a script error appear "Microsoft JScript runtime error : validlink_google is undefined
(see JScript.jpg)
But the debugging don't solve the problem.
I'm having the same problem. I tried what you suggested but it didn't work.
Must be an epidemic! I'm having the same issue. Running MS Office 2003 on ie8. I tried to register the dll but had no luck either.
Oh, that’s not good… Alright let me have this checked and get back to you shortly…
