Website blocked

Hi there,

Our website www.ancient-origins.net has been blocked. We have run tests with sucuri,  and our hosting company and there are no issues with the security of our website which is No1 in ancient history with 9 million page views a month!

We submitted he url 9 days ago and Mcafee still has our site marked as malicious. We resubmitted again yesterday. This is harming our traffic and audience, can somebody take action from Mcafee?

Thanks in advance

Re: Website blocked

Thank you Allwyn. Could we also know why this happened at the first place?

Re: Website blocked

Alwyn, we now  got a response as it is shown below. Our site is the largest Ancient History website in the world with 10 million page views a month. Unsubstantiated classifications like this, damage our reputation and our company. Could someone clarify what exactly are the issues linked to such a classification? The link you have provided is very general, and as I mentioned we have done all security audits with sucuri and our hosting provider and there are no issues at all.

Could someone let us know why our website is classified as Spyware/Adware??
