Hello,
My Website www.laabs.in is blacklisted.
And I think this is the reason why we are not able to share any links from our website to Facebook. This is terribly affecting our presence on Facebook. As a startup we need to share and interact with our users as well.
So it is showing blacklisted BUT suprisingly only by McAfee.
So what does that mean. Why only McAfee? Why so special?
The funny part is the sitecheck results throws - no content!!!
Woah! Right, no content. Then what is the threat about????
I don't really understand on what basis we are made to suffer??
I called up my web-hosting company and they say everything is good from their end and that they can do nothing about McAfee poking into this. So I am not sure what needs to be done. If there are legitimate reasons, we can troubleshoot and try to fix them. But we can go troubleshooting with the reason such as "Unable to properly scan your site. Site empty (no content)." is it?
Please McAfee, kindly review and let us atleast know what threat you found.

The site's only two months old, effectively has no content, and (if the geolocation is correct) is sharing server space in the British Virign Islands with 1600 other websites. There's nothing in any of that to turn a site Red, and I can't see that the domain name has any kind of history to account for it, so I regard this as a false positive (something to do with the Name Server, perhaps?)
Best let TrustedSource handle this. I can't see any reason for the site not to be Green.
Thank You, Hayton!
What is the way forward from here I am wondering?
NO CONTENT has got me confused a bit as the site is up and it got to have content right? Or the content might be something specific here, or not, I don't know.
But doesn't matter, I just wish to get the blacklist status removed.
And does Facebook depend on these data?
I am thinking so (and so are many others I have interacted with on Facebook forums) as we are not able to share links from the website to Facebook citing security reasons. But that is not the case with any other social network platforms.
Anyway, thanks for the insight on this.
Best to wait you have submitted the site for reevaluation and that usually gets done fast. Re other questions best Hayton answers those.
Your site is set up on the server slightly incorrectly. Some site checkers automatically assume a URL is preceded by "www", but a connection to "http://www.laabs.in" took nearly 30 seconds including a 302 redirection to "http://laabs.in".
That 302 redirection is a "Found" message and should probably be a 301 or a 307.

Below is why I said "the site has almost no content". Those results are for "www.laabs.in". And yes, I can go to the site and I see it has a lot more than that.
But this is what I get when I try to analyse "http://laabs.in" :
Maybe this is part of the reason for the Red rating. If the site is flicking on and off - reachable/unreachable - it might register as a come-and-go malware site.
And, purely incidentally, you need to make some changes to the HTML page code. A W3C analysis of "laabs.in" produced 126 errors and 232 warnings. Analysis results are HERE.

'Anyways, I will get DNS etc. checked. It's a PHP site...I don't have a lot of actual HTML pages...anyways will check.
I don't see anything malicious to be blacklisted.
Just my opinion please.

Is this a good sign? Will it change to clean?
