,

I would open your Internet Explorer, and click on the 'White Gear Icon' and set your settings to 'Tell me if a search result is safe in any search Engine' This should cover all Browsers, Internet Explorer 11 comes with Windows 10.

Not yet, Microsoft are restricting all apps they haven't yet approved of so in my case I'm using IE11 which is the built-in alternative, or there is always Firefox or Chrome.

Morning catdaddy,

I appreciate your fast and informative response .... as usual  I might add ...lol!

I owe you an apology.  Right after I posted I did a quick Bing Search and found out McAfee Web Advisor doesn't work with Edge yet.  However, I appreciate the information about the setting in IE.

Thanks and Regards,

Why thank you for the 'Kind Words' . It is like Colleague Peter mentioned, as of yet you are correct. It is indeed not compatible with Edge. However those settings for search annotations is recommended. And you do still have Internet Explorer 11 as well as the other Browsers.

All the Best,

Catdaddy

No big deal.   Two responses are better than none at all....LOL

I emailed a contact at McA that deals with WA on this for any news.

When I last checked it was a case of Microsoft refusing to allow ANY add-ons to Edge.

Answer from my source...abridged...

MS initially promised that they’d allow add-ons (or at least add-on functionality via a new API) in time for Win 10 release.

Last I heard from WA Dev, is that they’re saying February

Now they’re *talking about* running a script to unpin Edge from the taskbar, and pin IE in it’s place so that customers wouldn’t have to search for IE in the Start Menu every time they wanted WA’s protection.

Thanks for the 'Heads Up' Peter   I just hope Edge does not follow suit in being as much of a headache in regards to the functionality of 'Add-Ons' as Firefox/Chrome can be at times.
