Hi,
On visiting https://www.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/new/ and clicking the download link to download the latest version of Firefox, this message popped up:
I have no idea why as the link seems genuine and this has never happened before on Firefox's site. Clicking "View site Report" also gave me a "404 Forbidden" message, though checking this site's rating via Google shows it to be marked as "Safe". Can anyone tell me what's going on? Thanks.

Solved! Go to Solution.
I got the same as in the picture. I suggest ignoring the warning, it's just exactly that, a warning, to be careful with a download, any download.
No idea why you got this, Wixey, it all looks clear to me. I downloaded from Mozilla as per the link, and there was no warning message. WOT and SiteAdvisor both show Green.
I don't recognise that download link. Tried downloading from here? Mozilla Firefox Web Browser — Download Firefox in your language — Mozilla
Download link is UK-specific. I got through to it okay, downloaded okay. The WebAdvisor message shows a different URL though.

Strange? Like Hayton I was capable of accessing, no prompt or anything.

Thanks for the feedback catdaddy, Hayton and Ex_Brit.
I've installed the Firefox update and nothing unusual's happened. It still seems odd that WebAdvisor's giving a warning about this despite the safe Site Report.
You're welcome. Good luck.
You are quite welcome Glad that all is okay.
All the Best,

Folks, have a closer look at that site report.
"Last seen" date is July 2013. Which means the rating is three years out of date.
On the SiteAdvisor page there is a warning flag for a Firefox download - Thunderbird, I think. That too looks seriously out of date.
Perhaps it's time to re-scan the site.As it's only for GB I bet the automated testing ignores it.
