Unable to uninstall SiteAdvisor

Well, after receiving that "policy change" message I decided to uninstall SiteAdvisor but didn't find it in "Add/Remove programs" neither separately nor under SecurityCenter. I tried to run VirtualTechnician, but it didn't find any problems AND it didn't offer me the promised "Would you like additional technical support?" option on the "Final Report" screen. I was able to disable SiteAdvisor in both IE and FireFox, but neither program offered me to unistall it.

RE: Unable to uninstall SiteAdvisor

Go to C:/Program Files/Siteadvisor/6172 and look for uninstall.exe double-click it and it will be gone.

RE: Unable to uninstall SiteAdvisor

I have been getting strange error messages from SiteAdvisor, so I went to uninstall and found the same thing you did. Just wondering, did you follow Ex_Brit's advice and did it work?

Unistalling site advisor - how do you do it?

How do you do it?
I have site advisor enterprise installed on my work PC. I know you guys have a a removal tool for consumer products but how about the enterpise edition?

I have uninstalled from ADD/REMOVE programs and also tried the uninstall.exe in the site advisor directory. The silly thing keeps installing itself again!

I have a data trending package that relies on IE to work but site advisor is slowing it down too much.

thanks
