The bug is back

Since I updated to the latest release 2.9.239 the check mark has moved to its own line at bottom lower left of a Google search

RE: The bug is back

That is not a bug, but by design as the checkmark was interfering with Google Searchwiki buttons that appear when doing a search and you are signed into Google.

I also have 2.9.239, (XP SP3 and IE7), but the check marks are still to the right on Google searches as they should be. This is even if I'm signed in to Google. The check marks overlay the Google Wiki icons as shown in Peter's screenshot.

I've changed various SA options, and happily it still works correctly.

I will not be happy if this is the case. As I posted, I'm still seeing the checkmarks to the right.

A better solution would be for the SA developers to figure out how to place the checkmarks to the right of the Wiki icons.

RE: The bug is back

The previous pic muct have been a fluke as I now see them correctly placed at the very right hand of any other button, exactly as they should be. I'm also using v.2.9.239.
I see nothing wrong with that.

I doubt it was a fluke, as I was seeing the same thing. However, like you, I'm now seeing the checkmarks to the right of the Google SearchWiki icons.

Perhaps Google made a change to the search-results script to make these icons more visible to the Site Advisor script.

In any case, I agree, there is nothing wrong with this. In fact, it is excellent. 🙂

I think the SA team spoke with Google at some point so things probably were tweaked at both ends!
