Thanks.
I'll hopefully wait till Hayton comes a long, or something.
Thanks again Peter.
I don't think I went overlimit, seeing as SiteAdvisor Plus was installed through Total Protection because it's part of my package, I suppose.
OK, good luck.
Conor, try going (in Chrome) to the following page and see if you can re-download SA for Chrome from there.

It just dawned on me there's only one type of SiteAdvisor for Chrome, (as distinct from SiteAdvisor Plus/Live or whatever, or SiteAdvisor Free) and that can easily be re-download through Tools/Extensions - Get More Extensions then just search for SiteAdvisor, it's there.
Next time you want to turn off a feature just go into SiteAdvisor's settings.
I hope that's all that is needed.
It worked, but it's not the same SiteAdvisor I had.
I had the green icon with an M in it, and with McAfee Secured Pages, the icon doesn't work.
Edit: and there is literally NO options, like I had with protected mode and such.

So there are two kinds. You must have had the SiteAdvisor Plus version in which case it looks like a complete uninstall, cleanup using MCPR tool (useful links above) and reinstall may be necessary, unless there is something quicker that Technical Support Chat could advise you.
I'm afraid getting Tech Support to read these forums on a weekend is rarer than hens teeth.
Great, so I will have to remove my whole suite to get SiteAdvisor Plus back?
I reinstalled SiteAdvisor through the Suite, and it installed on pretty much every browser except Chrome, why? I don't know, I know it's on Firefox, but I haven't checked other browsers.
I don't understand seeing as it installed through the suite, but still doesn't come up on Chrome, even though it's availiable...
p.s I hate reinstalls as I always seem to do it wrong, this is why I am avoiding reinstalling My Total Protection.
Then ask Technical Support Chat for some ideas.
Thanks Peter,
I'm just hoping that someone who knows more/a lot more about SiteAdvisor than I do..
LOL, keep your fingers crossed.
