Hi Conor
Fun and games. Are you trying to uininstall SiteAdvisor? In Firefox? Best advice is to read Brian Trombley's posts (starting at no. 10) in https://community.mcafee.com/message/180312#180312
Hi,
Not uninstall.
I uninstalled it on Chrome, thinking it would uninstall for every browser.
It fixed the problem, but I would like it back on Chrome.
Thanks.
In Chrome go to the little spanner/tool symbol at top right and open Tools/Exrtensions.
Is it simply disabled or did you actually uninstall it?
Also was it Siteadvisor or SiteAdvisor Plus?

With it disabled, it wouldn't work with encryption, also it wouldn't let me click about or anything to do with the Extension.
It's conpletely uninstalled, and it's SiteAdvisor Plus.
Try going to Control Panel/Programs and uninstall McAfee but pick only SiteAdvisor (it should offer the choice).
Then go to your account and start dowloading the suite again but this time use the custom method and select only SiteAdvisor.
Hi,
I'm using all 3 of my subscriptions, so how would this work out?
Also, I have to download the whole McAfee Total Protection, so I can select SiteAdvisor?
I only see SiteAdvisor Live in there, but I remember having Plus..
Phone Customer Service if there's a problem, they'll sort it out.
You are in the UK I believe so this is what's on the appropriate support page:
Telephone Customer Service
To speak with a Customer Service representative, call 020 79490107. You may be asked for your registered email address and order number. Telephone charges may apply.
Estimated wait time: 10-30 minutes
Hours of Operation: 09.00-18.00 local, Monday through Friday
We are currently experiencing high call volumes, resulting in high hold times in the queue. We apologize for this inconvenience; customers will be answered in the order received.
..
So there's basically no button under Account that says "You just recently uninstalled SiteAdvisor Plus! Redownload?"
I really don't want to ring Customer service, it's usually a waste of time, and I just want to get to sorted out before I have to leave.
After posting that idiotic statement,
It turns out that you can install it through your McAfee Total Protection Web Features page, as it prompted me I was not protected in the web.
Only problem now is that it's showing in Firefox, just not Chrome, which it was before..
Suggestions?
Contact Technical Support as I haven't the faintest idea, sorry. There should be a way of reinstating the toolbar in Chrome but I don't know how I'm afraid.
Customer Service would recitfy things if the account went overlimit after reinstalling anything..
