Re: SiteAdvisor will not work.

I use firefox and I went back to the old firefox plugin found here:http://download.mcafee.com/products/sa/firefox/safe.xpi

It seems to work now.  I beleive that it rolls you back to 2.8   The upgrade to 3.0 has not worked for me consistently since it came out.  You have to uninstall SA using the windows control panel uninstall before installing the firefox plugin.  Hope this helps the firefox users.

Re: SiteAdvisor will not work.

If I may jump in here, I have a similar issue with SiteAdvisor. When I  go to View=>Toolbars, I do not see a SiteAdvisor toolbar listed at all.  I do have 3 Plugins.

I was using SiteAdvisor until my toolbars became corrupted (don't ask me how).  Microsoft had me uninstall IE (and many other things) to fix it.  Since then, I can't get SiteAdvisor to work.  I use Internet Explorer 8 on Windows XP with SP3.  I would love some ideas! (PS, can't install MVT so can't do a McAfee chat.)

This thread is 20 months old and the versions they are talking about have long since been updated.
