SiteAdvisor Ratings Incorrect

The Internet has become inundated with the latest malware threats and McAfee has become as fast as a lumbering elephant.

It needs a few mice scattered at its feet to get it to notice anything:

RE: SiteAdvisor Ratings Incorrect

It'll get there eventually, don't forget there are literally millions of websites out there. No point posting here, use the feedback form if you think it's important enough.

Grey icons can mean a) SiteAdvisor servers are down, or b) they haven't got around to testing that site yet but will eventually, or c) they are testing it currently.

RE: SiteAdvisor Ratings Incorrect

I have reported sites that have definite malware and they even are detected by Mcafee anti virus but they are not in SiteAdvisor.

I have reported sites and I have not received any response from McAfee.

If it takes months to test reported sites then either more people should be assigned to test sites or a better mechanism should be initiated to test the sites quicker.

I tend to agree. Apparently it's mainly automated, but I guess they are far behind. I usually get answers from them after about a week.

Another one:

RE: SiteAdvisor Ratings Incorrect

If I go to WWW.RIPWAY.COM in my Firefox both SiteAdvisor and WOT label it good and non of those comments are there either.

http://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/www.ripway.com?version=2&core_ver=1.0&pip=true&premium=false&client...

What's that h1 in front of the URL signify? I tried going to h1.ripway.com and I can't. It redirects to the above which is fine.

Yokenny, I am sure we could all spend our days and nights finding sites that aren't yet labelled or are wrongly labelled but it's just a waste of time posting it all here. All you are doing is keeping me and other Moderators from helping other posters with far more pressing needs. I've already stated what to do in such cases and that SiteAdvisor will get around to it.

So please, these forums are for technical support, not for pointing out the perceived shortcomings of the system over and over again.

I altered the header for this thread to something more suitable by the way.
