SiteAdvisor False Positive

May I please request our website to be rescanned. Some members have reported it being in the red zone.

Yesterday I have sent my rating dispute via email at support@siteadvisor.com but still have no an answer.  Is it enough?

The problem is not exactly with SiteAdvisor but with TrustedSource, which can change a site's rating from time to time after the main SiteAdvisor tests have been completed.

According to TrustedSource the site is flagged as Red, and seems to have been so for at least a month, but the reasons for that are not clear. The site is still rated good by WOT and does not appear to be on any blacklists (http://www.robtex.com/dns/thedownloadplanet.com.html#summary).

This makes clear that there no problems with outgoing links, nor with spam or downloads : it's something to do with the site itself. The information I have is that the site was registered in the Ukraine but is hosted on a server in Latvia. You haven't been hacked, I suppose?

The best way to get an answer is to contact the TrustedSource team and ask them to investigate. How to contact them is included in one of Ex_Brit's handy guides, "How To Contact SiteAdvisor".

Yes, site was registered in Ukraine, but never have been hacked(I hope).

I have sent mail to TrustedSource at sites@mcafee.com

I just received an answer from TrustedSource:

Thank you for your request.  The rating of thedownloadplanet.com has been adjusted in TrustedSource web database. We are currently waiting for the update in SiteAdvisor.  We will monitor this and will provide updatesas soon as we are able.

How long it will take usually ?

That depends whether they're going to re-run any of the SiteAdvisor tests. If not, then the process should normally take no more than a day or two. If any tests are re-run it could take longer.
