SiteAdvisor Blocking Sites

Can anyone tell me why all my sites are blocked in Firefox? I just want refdesk.com and caloriecount.com. How can I turn off Site Advisor? Thanks

Re: SiteAdvisor Blocking Sites

Good evening ayergin and welcome to the McAfee Community Forums.

Please clarify what type of message you are receiving when attempting to go to the sites you mentioned?  (I.e. are you getting a message from Firefox or SiteAdvisor)?  If you can, please provide a screenshot of the message you are receiving with your next post.

Thank you!

Re: SiteAdvisor Blocking Sites

Both those sites display okay in Firefox, and SiteAdvisor shows both as Green.

refdesk though is prevented on my machine (by NoScript) from redirecting to another page, and both of those sites have chunks of their (third-party) content blocked by NoScript and/or Abine.

So what exactly is the problem that you're seeing?

Re: SiteAdvisor Blocking Sites

I am using Firefox at work where we block all sorts of stuff and I am not getting blocked from either of these sites. I have both IE and Firefox and both show green. Maybe try updating your firefox or make sure you have an updated version of SiteAdvisory.

I know SiteAdvisory had a patch that came out a while back.
