SiteAdvisor 3.4.0 and Firefox 9.0.1

Jump to solution

Having been upgraded autonmatically to Firefox 9.0.1 I noticed that SiteAdvisor was no longer there. When I checked the addon list, it was disabled, but it didn't say that it was incompatible. Unfortunately it appears that it is incompatible, because when I enabled it and restarted Firefox, I got a string of error messages and Firefox refused to load web pages. However at least I could disable it and restart again, whereupon it worked once more.

Does anybody know if/when a new version is due? I just reinstalled SiteAdvisor from the web site and it's still version 3.4.0. Also has anybody else had this issue?

It works fine here.  All you have to do is go into add-ons and turn it on.

Yes it now seems to work. Very odd why it didn't previously.
