I believen you're right LizBeth, there is a structural problem. I hope for a solution soon.
In describing the problem I might add that, although the icon is gray, the SA can be used; the site report works. Has anybody noticed that?
yes. I am experiencing that too. When I click the button, I am still redirected to the site report.
I too hope for a resolution soon. SiteAdvisor was a great help when it was still working. It would be great to not have to keep worrying if a site is safe or not.

Funny but I am not having any issues. My SA is 220.127.116.11
I am also having the same issue. Uninstalling and reinstalling made no difference. Sometimes the button is gray (like right now on this site) and other times it is green.
Yes, mattlucky, I noted that in one of my earlier comments. The Site Report function still works, but the button remains constantly gray. It's annoying, because I liked knowing whether or not a site was safe before you go there (as in the past) vs. after, as it is now.
I believe most of us are running the same version, 18.104.22.168, but as you can see, many of us are having problems. My Site Advisor worked fine until the latest update.
