SiteAdvisor Fully Removed

Peter,

Thanks for the tip. I followed your instructions. The MCPR tool did the trick. I reinstalled the McAfee products using the Customize option and no more problems. I would like to think at some point in the future the problems with SiteAdvisor and the new Security Suite will be worked out. I will monitor this board for updates in that regard. Thanks again.

RE: SiteAdvisor Fully Removed

I'm using SiteAdvisor Plus with absolutely no problems. As long as I don't check the choice shown in the attached pic.
I also have experimented several times installing regular SiteAdvisor and it most definitely does give you the choice of ignoring the Yahoo toolbar. Assuming that's the issue still here.
In any case the Yahoo toolbar can always be removed afterwards, or disabled.
I explained all this in a sticky here: http://community.mcafee.com/showthread.php?t=228025
