Search engine

In Google Chrome settings, everytime I change search engine from McAfee and close out, it goes back to McAfee.  I do not want McAfee/Yahoo as search engine.  Please help.  I have change defaults in win 7, and still can't change.  Please please help.

Re: Search engine

Moved this to SiteAdvisor as it is that application which is the cause.

you must have activated Secure Search in SiteAdvisor settings.  Unfortunately McAfee only has an agreement with Yahoo for Secure Search.  Hopefully that will expand to provide choices but not sure when that will happen.

Try disabling Secure Search and restarting the browser.  Then you should be able to change search engines in the Tools menu.
