SA not working on WinXP and Vista

I downloaded and installed McAfee SiteAdvisor on my WinXPsp3 desktop and on my Vista. Both have IE8 and FF.

After the installation and restart, I cannot see anything relating to SA on either the IE8 on the WinXPsp3  or on the Vista IE8 (or in the FF on either computer).

I checked in the Add-Ons and see the SiteAdvisor is Enabled. Third party browser is checked. View has the SiteAdvisor listed, but there is no checked mark next to it (the check box looks greyed-out); when I click on it, I get a pop-up asking me if I want to disable SA.

Does anyone know what is going on? Or should I just forget about using SA on these two machines?

Please advise and thank you. See Add-On at bottom...

Alice

ADD-ON - Just got the SA to work on the Vista. However, SA is still not working on the WinXPsp3 desktop.

SPOKE TOO SOON! Today when I opened IE 8 on the Vista I could see the Site Advisor search box, but there were no Green check mark (circles) next to each category when I did a search. What's wrong with this SA? Green check mark (circles) are showing in the Firefox when searching done.
