Regarding Secure Search

I have had secure search enabled on my computer for a couple of months now and initially after my default search engine was switched to Yahoo I switched it back to Google(and made Google default) and deleted Yahoo as a search engine preference completely.

Every time I shut down my laptop and then restart it and open my browser the search engine is always Yahoo Search and I always have to delete it and replace it with Google.

I googled the solution and was directed to this link

And upon viewing my McAfee WebAdvisor settings discovered that I was already on the setting mentioned in the linked solution.

How do I prevent my default browser from switching to Yahoo Search every time I shut down and restart my laptop?
