Was your issue ever resolved? Mine is similar, in that I get this McAfee 'WebAdvisor' popup that says "This link is safe." That is nice, but I can't get rid of the popup! There is only a link to more info on my site, but the popup remains hovering over what I am trying to see or what I am typing. I believe I did respond to a popup yesterday (?) asking if I'd like a new enhanced McAfee service to warn me of malicious sites, so NOW I get a malicious popup! Does anyone know how to contact McAfee about this??
Although this is a very old thread, and the software has changed. If you are presently experiencing similar issues. You can always contact Technical Support 24/7 at no cost. Phone\online Chat being the most expedient.

First, the issue in this thread is unrelated to what I think you're experiencing; an issue in which the pop-up "balloon" gets stuck. We've been unable to track this problem down because it is not easily reproduced, and very few people have complained about it - so we haven't been able to get a computer that has the problem to investigate the problem.
Since it appears you do have this issue, our Developers would really like to connect to your computer to figure out what's causing this. Would you be willing to let one of our WebAdvisor team remote to your computer?
