When you reinstall SA/WA you probably will get SA then 24 hrs later WA installs. And yes there is a FF extension for WA at least so in mine and a toolbar.
I uninstalled WA, did a reg clean & reboot, then installed SA (no WA dload available yet.) This time when prompted I enabled secure search so it is now in my search engine list. We'll see what happens when it updates this time.Fingers crossed.
I'll keep ya posted.
You know enabling Secure Search confines browser searches to Yahoo only?
Yeah, I noticed that if I use secure search it is Yahoo.. It's in my list now but I still have Google as my default.
OK, just as long as you know 😉
Well, no success the 2nd time around. I ran MVT and it says all is good. I guess I'll go tech support now.
Did you try a complete reboot (I don't mean Sleep/Awake) I mean power down and up again?
Yes, I did a complete power down & boot up.
Very weird then and sorry I changed to question in mid-stream, you probably got an email saying something else. I did see this myself but after an update it corrected itself if I recall correctly.
Also sorry I prematurely marked this solved. Unfortunately I can't revers that but it doesn't really matter.
