RE: Mcafee Site Advisor

Hi Divya,

I would like to know if the Site Advisor toolbar is present in the Internet Explorer, if its not present please try bringing it back on by clicking on ‘View’ and then ‘Tool Bars’ and then select ‘Site Advisor’, now check if you are able to see it.

Thanks,
OJ

RE: Mcafee Site Advisor

Okay lets try reinstalling the McAfee Site Advisor, in order to do it you would be required to uninstall the McAfee Site Advisor. To uninstall the McAfee Site Advisor you would need to Click on ‘Start’ then click on ‘Control Panel’ then under control panel please click on ‘Add/Remove Programs’ In your add/remove programs please select ‘McAfee Security Center’ then click on ‘Change/Remove’ you would get a new window select ‘McAfee Site Advisor’ alone and then click on ‘Remove’ and then restart the computer.

Now after uninstalling it please try to reinstall the McAfee Site Advisor its best not to install it from the McAfee Site Advisor website rather update it from your account. So please follow these steps:

Steps:

Step1: Go to the McAfee homepage, http://us.mcafee.com/ . Click My Account. If prompted, enter your registered email address and password. Click Log In. Click the blue down arrow button in the 'Update/Download' column. After reviewing the McAfee.com User License Agreement, click I Agree to continue.

Step2: Click Download to download the Download Manager. (Your Web browser will prompt you to either run or save the file.)

Step3: To run the Download Manager now, click Open. If necessary, accept any security warnings that might appear.

Step4: In the Download Manager, select the programs you want to download by clicking on custom then selecting McAfee Site Advisor and click on Download

Step5: After it installs please restart the computer if required or close an reopen the Internet Explorer and check.

Let us know if this had helped you to resolve your issue or not.

Thanks,
OJ
