McAffee Adware from Spamming Me with Popups

If there is one thing that has dissuaded me from ever buying it, it's that McAffee is adware. It has clearly snuck onto my system hidden in another program and now I can't get rid of it.

How do I stop this annoying spam popup from McAffee from appearing on the bottom right of my screen? I have never bought any McAffee products, it is not an extension on any of my browsers, it doesn't appear as a startup item.

I have identified the file location, C:\Program Files\McAfee, but it won't let me delete it.

I didn't ask for this rubbish to be installed. How do I remove it, please?

For manual Uninstallation kindly follow below steps:

1. Click Start, and type Programs into the search bar.
2. Click Programs and Features.
3. Right-click on the McAfee program that you want to uninstall and select Uninstall/Change.
4. Select any relevant options, then click Uninstall.
5. Follow the onscreen instructions.
