McAfee WebAdvisor causes high CPU Usage (Windows 11)

Hello,

the MS Edge WebAdvisor Plugin (Program) causes at my PC a high CPU usage... I use at the moment Windows 11... The problem is, that this high CPU usage doesn't stop untill I close MS Edge...

Why is this so? I tried to reinstall McAfee LiveSafe new... But the problem is still there...

Hi @CIA_MAN 

We regret for the inconvenience caused.

Kindly remove the Web Advisor from control panel and also the extension on browser, try re adding it. Also make sure the browser is up to date.
